Office ensemble built for the Pinault-Printemps-Redoute group, including the offices of Fnac and a company restaurant.
This office ensemble exemplifies the problems involved in redeveloping an existing building and how it can be linked with a contemporary construction.

The project, which eventually became a single building, comprises a building from the early 20th century, listed as a Historic Monument, and three new buildings covered by three distinct building permits. This ensemble must be able to be re-divided into several entities with office stories, with two levels of car parks which are to remain shared.
The new constructions are flush with the boundaries of the plot, an approach which made it possible to create a courtyard between the new and existing buildings. On both sides of the existing building, setbacks have been created to enhance the corners of the historic façades.

The Fnac offices were created in several stages as the company's development progressed. The desire to express a new identity led us to modify the main façade, which today clearly expresses activities involving visual image and multimedia.
The interior of the industrial building, designed by Papinot & Simonet (architects) and Moisant (metal structure), 1905 and Hennebique (reinforced concrete), 1920. Atria, high ceilings, and exposed structural work give the place a “studio” atmosphere that is appropriate to a company like Fnac.
